Hey! I am back and I bring some cool news! First of all, I’ve joined the passionate community of developers on Handmade Network. Programming is about the experience, the joy you experience, passion, this is it. Embrace new ideas, try out stuff, experiment, make your software fast, elegant and simple to use. This is the main reason why I’ve joined the community, I highly recommend checking it out!
Next, I’ve abandoned work on Fusion3D and Fragwork until further notice. The reason is, I don’t have enough knowledge about the internal systems of Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven and I am not capable of completing it yet. This might change in the future, we’ll see.
Time for new stuff! I’ve released a collection of header-only libraries called zpl that offers features that the standard library may lack of. Additionally it contains many useful modules for specific usage, one being a kd-tree based culler zpl-cull but not limited to.
Last but not least, Inlife and I released a whole new version of librg (formerly called ReGuider Framework). The new version got rid of several third-party dependencies (most of them are replaced by zpl) and is header-only single-file. It is written in C99 but is supported by C++ compilers as well. Since it is cross-platform, the range of usage extends a lot. The library performs much faster and provides elegant, simple interface to use. You should rather check it out!
If you got this far, thank you for reading this post, stay tuned!
